Coffee & Conversations with Women & Planning Division

Join the APA Tribal and Indigenous Planning Division (TIPD) and Women and Planning Division for Coffee & Conversations! We'll kick things off with an introduction to TIPD, its mission, activities, and priorities, followed by an informal conversation about the interests and experiences of our members, opportunities to support Indigenous planners, and ways our divisions can learn from one another. Together, we'll explore possibilities for shared programming, knowledge exchange, and future collaboration—and identify a few tangible ways to keep the conversation going.

Indigenous Methodologies for Sustainable and Resilient Planning and Design Practices

TIPD and the Sustainable Communities Division are collaborating with APA Ohio to bring you this edition of the Planning Webcast Series.

Indigenous planning and design vary across Native Nations and regions, reflecting each group or area’s distinct relationships to lands, histories, governance structures, and cultural practices. The discussion will express how Indigenous methodologies can help communities and planning policy navigate uncertainty by offering holistic, sustainable approaches and design practices for addressing complex challenges.
