Tribal & Indigenous Membership Recruitment

The Tribal & Indigenous Membership Recruitment Committee aligns with TIPD's guiding principle, which is to "ensure sufficient membership of individuals who personally identify as Tribal or Indigenous and shall strive to include individuals who also identify as other People of Color and individuals from all sexual orientations and gender identities."

This committee does not have regularly scheduled meetings. Email secretary.tribal.planning@gmail.com to get in touch with other committee members.

Committee Objectives:

  • Develop a recruitment plan that includes both short and long term goals to ensure the Division is striving to implement our mission and guiding principle.
  • Provide support at and plan events for recruitment opportunities, such as at the NPC Divisions booth, Division-sponsored networking events, or other relative conference and event opportunities.
  • Work with the Communications & Outreach Committee and National Planning Conference Committee to increase and leverage recruitment opportunities.
  • Incorporate annual work plan items into Committee objectives and implement annual work plan items.
