National Planning Conference

The National Planning Conference (NPC) Committee strives to support TIPD members in presenting and attending Tribal- and Indigenous-focused sessions at the annual National Planning Conference. This committee will also coordinate opportunities for members to gather in person at NPC, support other conferences, and identify opportunities for knowledge sharing outside of formal conference sessions.

The NPC committee meets on the first Friday of the month at 4pm Eastern Time / 12pm Alaska Time. Email secretary.tribal.planning@gmail.com for the Zoom link.

Committee Objectives:

  • Develop an NPC session plan that includes (but is not limited to) quality sessions representing the interests identified in our mission and guiding principle and options for networking between those interests identified in our mission and guiding principle.
  • Work with the Communications & Outreach Committee and Tribal & Indigenous Recruitment Committee to increase and leverage conference opportunities.
  • Incorporate annual work plan items into Committee objectives and implement annual work plan items.
